BIO holder

The BIO holders comprise a modular system of a rain barrel and worm hotel specially designed for the NRE site in Eindhoven, as part of ‘!mpuls Slim Vergroenen Gemeentelijk Vastgoed’ of the UNaLab project. This project aims to develop smarter, more inclusive, resilient and increasingly sustainable societies through innovative nature-based solutions - Nature Based Solutions.

The rain barrel captures visible rainwater stores it. The worm hotel is a compost collection point. They make things like water collection and composting visible as an educational element. Both can be managed and maintained by communities where they land.
